Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Granite Countertop Template Technician to join our team. In this role, you will visit residential and commercial job sites to take precise measurements and create templates for granite and other stone countertops. Your accuracy and attention to detail will help ensure each countertop is fabricated to fit the space and project specifications.
Pay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour

Duties
- Visit job sites to measure cabinets and countertop areas accurately
- Create countertop templates using the appropriate measuring tools and templating methods
- Record dimensions, angles, seams, overhangs, and cutouts for sinks, cooktops, and other fixtures
- Confirm job-site conditions and identify details that may affect fabrication or installation
- Review measurements and project details for accuracy before submitting them for fabrication
- Communicate with customers, contractors, fabricators, and installation team members about project requirements
- Maintain clear records of measurements and project specifications
- Follow company procedures and job-site safety guidelines
Experience
- Previous experience templating granite or stone countertops required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to take and verify precise measurements
- Ability to read plans or drawings and understand countertop layouts
- Strong communication skills when working with customers and team members
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable working at different job sites
- Familiarity with digital templating equipment is a plus
