Job description:
We are looking for a thorough Lead Maintenance to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible conditions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Interact with the residents to identify, diagnose, repair, and resolve electrical, plumbing, A/C, and heating systems, appliances, stairs, railings, gas fixtures, carpet, tiles, and flooring issues.
- Correct any unsafe conditions like open holes, broken glass or gates, broken lights, etc., and immediately assign the work to the ready staff to ensure completion of work on time.
- Schedule preventive maintenance programs for all equipment and ensure that they are in good working condition.
- Manage inventory of supplies and spare parts to complete work orders as requested.
- Work on-call shifts/schedules to assist with both resident and property emergencies.
Experience:
- 1 year of experience in multifamily facilities services or related field
- Ability to contribute to resident satisfaction by performing basic maintenance of your community
- Demonstrate a desire to excel, learn and perform and work as a team
- Yardi experience a plus
