Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Property Manager based in the Des Moines. The Property Manager will oversee the daily operations of residential and/or commercial properties, coordinate maintenance and repairs, and manage tenant relations. Responsibilities include preparing budgets, collecting rent, handling lease agreements, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The role will also involve supervising property staff, implementing property marketing strategies, and addressing tenant needs to ensure high satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

• Property management skills such as tenant relations, lease administration, and familiarity with local regulations
• Financial acumen in areas such as budget preparation, expense tracking, and rent collection
• Leadership and supervisory skills for managing on-site staff and day-to-day property operations
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to address tenant concerns effectively
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple properties or tasks efficiently
• Working knowledge of property management software is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in property management, business administration, or a related field preferred
• Prior experience in property management or real estate is highly desirable
