Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Assist with framing, roofing, siding, drywall installation, and other carpentry tasks using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute project plans accurately
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and tile laying as required for various projects
- Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, windows, trim, and hardware with precision and care
- Conduct restoration work including water damage remediation, plastering, stucco application, mold remediation, and water damage restoration
- Operate heavy machinery and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) equipment for fabrication or assembly tasks
- Support the construction team with heavy lifting, material handling, scaffolding setup, and site cleanup to maintain a safe working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation
- Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, grinders)
- Strong knowledge of framing carpentry (metal stud framing included), trim carpentry, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, and fixture installation
- Experience with plumbing, electrical work, masonry, drywall finishing (including plastering), caulking, stucco application, and metal stud framing
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina throughout the workday
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Knowledge of fabrication techniques including woodworking and CNC operations for custom projects
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise project execution
- Experience in restoration industry projects such as mold remediation or water damage restoration is a plus
- Handyman experience or general remodeling skills are highly valued
