Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our second shift team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of quality assurance processes and the ability to work collaboratively within a manufacturing environment.
Candidate must possess the following skills:
- Safety conscious, commitment to Quality, good work ethic, good attendance, punctual, attention to detail, organized, self-sufficient & positive attitude.
- Assist with Customer Complaints & Containment
- Containment within 24 hours of receipt of complaint
- Creation of Quality Alert for immediate awareness to production floor
- Evaluation of process where suspect condition occurred
- Reviewing documentation associated with the process
- Performing Customer Certifications
- Sequencing customer shipments as required
- Assist with Supplier containment as required
- Process Auditing
- Audit weekly covering all Value Streams
- Inputting and manage defined actions
- Assisting with NPI & Receiving Inspections
- Audit and maintain hold areas: Receiving, Quality & Rework
- Assist with documentation releases: Work Instructions, Quality Alerts & Visual Aids
- Working knowledge and calibration of measuring instruments is desired but not required, including but not limited to: calipers, bore gauges, height gauge, micrometer, depth gauge, tape measures, torque wrench, thread gauges, ring gauges, digital protractor etc.
- Support Visual Factory & Continuous Improvement
- Assist with system documentation overhaul
- Transitioning old Work Instructions to new format
- Maintain Document Control Center
- Software - Proficient in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint desired
- Visual Quality & Manufacturing
- Input of CAR & SCAR information into Visual, including backlog
Input LMS detail, Scanning, Filing of Inspection Sheets, Inputting Issues Log data
