Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time optician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients look and see their best while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that best meet their visual needs, lifestyle, and budget
- Educate patients on lens options, coatings, materials, and eyewear products
- Accurately measure pupillary distance, segment height, and other optical measurements
- Order and verify prescription eyewear and contact lenses
- Adjust, repair, and fit eyeglasses to ensure comfort and proper vision
- Troubleshoot and resolve eyewear concerns and warranty issues
- Verify vision insurance benefits and explain coverage to patients
- Maintain optical inventory and assist with merchandising and frame displays
- Process optical orders and maintain accurate patient records
- Work collaboratively with doctors and staff to provide excellent patient care and support efficient office operations
Qualifications
No experience is required, we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Comfort with computers and electronic records
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Dependable, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow within the practice
- ABO certification is a plus but not required
