We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Electric Motor Support Specialist to provide expert assistance to customers, distributors, and internal teams. This individual will troubleshoot electric motor issues, offer application guidance, and ensure accurate product selection.
Responsibilities
- Provide phone, email, and on-site technical support for electric motors and related products
- Assist customers with motor selection, compatibility, wiring, and application recommendations
- Troubleshoot motor failures and installation problems
- Interpret technical specifications, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Document support cases and resolutions in the CRM system
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to resolve complex issues
- Support warranty claim evaluations and recommend corrective actions
- Participate in training sessions for customers and staff
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior support or engineering teams as necessary
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved and satisfaction is maintained
- Provide product and service information, usage guidance, and technical specifications
- Contribute to technical documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in electric motor support, repair, or applications
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC motors, VFDs, motor starters, and controls
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical/electrical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and technical drawings
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
- Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn product details
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM or ticketing systems
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High School degree
