Precision Diesel, Inc. is seeking a full-time Fuel Injection Technician to join our clean and well-equipped fuel injection shop. This hands-on technical position involves rebuilding diesel fuel injection pumps and nozzles, as well as testing, diagnosing, and servicing high-pressure common-rail injectors.
While prior diesel experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate in our specific procedures and processes. If you have strong mechanical aptitude , attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, we encourage you to apply. (ag/mechanical background preferred)
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare injection pumps and nozzles for rebuild
- Fully rebuild pumps and nozzles, including tear-down, inspection, and reassembly
- Diagnosing issues that arise during the rebuild process
- Test completed units to ensure proper performance
- Maintain component inventory and coordinate with other departments
- Operate and maintain fuel injection test equipment
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail required
- Experience with diesel engines or fuel systems is preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally
- Strong work ethic, reliability, positive attitude and professional appearance.
- Willingness to learn specialized technical skills
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time 40-hour-per-week position with overtime possible
