Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Finisher / Apprentice Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing cabinets to the highest standards, ensuring quality and precision in every project. This role requires a understanding of cabinet installation, restoration techniques, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The Cabinet Finisher / Apprentice Carpenter will work closely with other team members to assemble and install cabinets, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Duties
- Finish cabinets using various techniques, including sanding, staining, and painting to achieve desired aesthetics.
- Restore and refurbish existing cabinetry as needed, ensuring high-quality results.
- Assemble cabinets accurately according to design specifications.
- Assist with the cabinet installation process.
- Perform construction painting tasks as required for finishing touches.
- Assist with electrical components related to cabinetry when applicable.
- Assist the lead carpenter in finish carpentry installations to include doors, all kinds of trim and mill work, cosmetic woodwork, wainscotting and much more.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cabinet finishing or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques.
- Basic understanding of electrical components related to cabinetry is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
