Precision Custom Components (PCC) is seeking a talented CNC Machinist Journeyman (2 nd shift) to join our team. This is an on-site position reporting to our manufacturing facility in York, PA.
This position is part of our collective bargaining unit (union). The current wage is $39.09 per hour plus a $2.00 per hour shift differential for 2 nd shift (3:30pm – 11:55pm).

As a CNC Machinist, you will help produce critical components for commercial nuclear, defense, energy, aerospace, and industrial applications while supporting safe, accurate, and efficient manufacturing operations.
Essential Duties Of The CNC Machinist
- Operate vertical and horizontal CNC mills to machine parts to specification.
- Set up, run, and monitor CNC machining operations to meet production and quality requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and current GD&T to ensure accurate part production.
- Use precision measuring instruments and inspection tools to verify dimensions and maintain tight tolerances.
- Perform routine adjustments, tool changes, and basic troubleshooting to support efficient machine performance.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and quality-focused work area while following company procedures and applicable shop standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Journeyman papers required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of CNC machining experience required.
- Ability to read blueprints and apply current GD&T in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and working knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, and geometry.
- Ability to work 2 nd shift (3:30pm – 11:55pm).
