What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Intern (Co-Op) position at Precision Castparts?
McWilliams Forge Company, in Rockaway, NJ, is a well-established leader in the manufacture of precision forged products for the aerospace industry. We are seeking a Lab Intern for our metallurgy and lab department. We are looking for a candidate who has obtained or is currently pursuing a degree in engineering or related fields. A hard, driven worker who is eager to learn with the ability to follow instruction. This is an internship role with direct supervision.

Requirements
- Receive Pos in Visual per the Inbound report lab supervisor provides every morning.
- Maintain the Retention database, this includes working with process engineer and sometimes our customer to document the retention information per part.
- Scrap material and document what is being scrapped, weight and material.
- Train to perform full labs.
- Scanning of optical reports in our database for archiving.
- Help with 6S initiatives.
