Job Summary:
Oxford Clinical Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated and aggressive Sales Representative to drive new business by securing physician accounts. This role is focused on building a strong referral network by bringing in new doctors’ offices, clinics, and healthcare providers to utilize our laboratory services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively prospect, target, and sign new physician accounts (primary care, pain management, urgent care, specialty practices, etc.)
- Conduct daily in-person visits to doctors’ offices to promote Oxford Clinical Laboratory services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, office managers, and staff
- Present and educate clients on laboratory testing services, turnaround times, and service advantages
- Coordinate onboarding of new accounts, including setup of requisitions, supplies, and courier services
- Work closely with operations and billing teams to ensure seamless service for all clients
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly new account and test volume targets
- Track all sales activity, leads, and account status
- Resolve client concerns quickly to maintain satisfaction and retention
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1–2 years of sales experience (healthcare or laboratory sales strongly preferred)
- Proven track record of generating new business and closing deals
- Strong understanding of physician office workflow is a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-driven, competitive, and goal-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel daily
Compensation:
- Commission based on accounts brought in and test volume generated
