Primary Responsibilities
Must be able to frequently remain in a stationary position. Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Occasionally required to perform work in a manufacturing setting, occasional exposure high noise level and heat.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear; frequently required to stand, walk or sit; regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms; occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Additional Notes
- Work safely. Adhere to all company and regulatory EH&S policies and procedures.
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
- Maintains employer log of absenteeism and communicates any disciplinary action due.
- Assists with documentation preparation.
- Supports 6S activities to include standardization of files, document retention, and document maintenance in HR area.
- Files documents into appropriate employee files.
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
- Prepare new employee files.
- Assists with the administration and application of company policies and procedures.
- Maintains company bulletin boards – post announcements, bids, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Higher Education studies in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related field of study and High School Diploma.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees within the organization.
- Highly organized.
- Ability to work unsupervised at times.
- Ability to follow and understand instructions.
- Self-motivated.
- Effectively demonstrate good judgment.
- Must be capable of accepting and exercising a high level of responsibility in keeping and maintaining confidential and sensitive information.
- Basic computer competency and proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Proficient communication skills.
