Bench grinders/deburr operators perform finishing tasks on complex machined aerospace parts using a variety of tools. These individuals work under direct supervision to perform basic deburr operations such as edge breaking and simple surface finishing tasks. They will work with basic deburr tools. They will also work with pneumatic tools and use deburr pads to hand finish surfaces on parts. These individuals should be able to interpret and follow work instructions including work orders and travelers. After training, these employees will also be expected to complete shop transactions in the ERP system. This is an entry-level position, ideal for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

- Perform basic deburr operations on machined parts
- Utilize deburr tools and hand finishing techniques to work on machined parts
- Interpret and follow work orders and track necessary transactions in the ERP system
- Other duties are to be assigned based on business needs.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- High level of attention to detail
- This position does require working knowledge or intermediate use of technology—to include computers, and other devices.
- Position requires the ability to lift 35 lbs.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required
- 0-1 years of relevant work experience
- GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.
