We are seeking a machinist familiar with turning machines. Sets up and operates a variety of machines in machine shop, including but not limited to; milling, turning, drilling, grinding etc. Able to work to close tolerances working from drawings with little or no guidance.

We are seeking a machinist familiar with turning machines. Sets up and operates a variety of machines in machine shop, including but not limited to; milling, turning, drilling, grinding etc. Able to work to close tolerances working from drawings with little or no guidance.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines)
- Load programs, install tooling, and set work offsets
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records
- Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures
- Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and supervisors to improve processes
- Previous manufacturing experience (3 years)
- Willingness to learn
- CNC programming experience (G-code, Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.)
- Experience with tight tolerances and high-precision parts
- Knowledge of tooling, feeds, speeds, and materials
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
