Precision Cabinets, a leading custom cabinet manufacturer, is seeking an IT Manager to lead, develop, and support a small, high-impact IT team. This role is responsible for the stability, security, and performance of all core IT systems across both office and manufacturing environments. It is a hands‑on leadership position ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving infrastructure, and guiding a team in a fast‑paced, collaborative setting.
Key Objectives
Infrastructure & Systems Administration
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Support servers, backups, virtualization, user accounts, and core business systems.
- Maintain stable and secure IT operations across office and manufacturing environments.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers as needed.
Network & Systems Support
- Support and maintain switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and internet connectivity.
- Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues affecting office and production operations.
- Lead with infrastructure upgrades, system improvements, and equipment lifecycle planning.
User Support & Endpoint Management
- Provide escalated technical support for hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and user access issues.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, permissions, and workstation deployments.
- Support shop-floor technology and manufacturing-related systems.
Security & Reliability
- Maintain endpoint protection, patch management, backups, and access controls.
- Support cybersecurity best practices and respond to security-related incidents when necessary.
- Help ensure company systems and data remain secure and operational.
Leadership & Project Coordination
- Lead, coach and support a small IT team in a collaborative environment.
- Prioritize projects, coordinate upgrades, and improve internal processes.
- Maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and configurations.
- Communicate effectively with employees, management, and vendors regarding IT initiatives and support.
- Conduct meetings, trainings, and workshops to support users and communicate IT initiatives.
- Drive key initiatives to completion, managing projects through influence and cross-train coordination.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience supporting business IT environments.
- 2 years direct or cross‑functional leadership experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience supporting Windows environments, user devices, and business networks.
- Maintain a high level of technical knowledge related to workstations, networks, systems, and applications.
- Familiarity with virtualization, backups, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot a broad range of technical issues independently.
- Able to work collaboratively across departments and support operational needs in a fast-paced environment.
Strongly Preferred Experience & Certifications
- Experience in manufacturing or multi-site business environments.
- Experience working with ERP, CAD, or production-related systems is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network , Security , Microsoft, or Cisco certifications.
Benefits & Compensation
The company intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay range of $115,000 -$150,000 plus annual target bonus. Actual offers will be based on a variety of factors, including experience.
