What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Change Lead ERP Implementation position at Precise Process Consulting LLC?
ROLE SUMMARY
Precise Process Consulting (PPC) is seeking an experienced Senior OCM Change Lead for an immediate contract engagement supporting a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (D365 F&SCM) ERP implementation. The client is a multi-site energy services manufacturer undergoing a full operating model transformation, moving from a legacy ERP, homegrown systems, and manual workarounds to a standardized enterprise platform. This is a high-change environment spanning manufacturing operations, warehouse, procurement, finance, and field services, with a January 1, 2027 go-live.
The engagement is mid-execution with established strategy and active program infrastructure in place. This is a hands-on execution role, not a strategy build. The right candidate integrates quickly, works independently, and owns deliverables with minimal ramp time.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Change Agent Network (CAN)
- Facilitate ongoing CAN meetings for a multi-site network of change agents embedded across manufacturing, warehouse, finance, procurement, and field service functions
- Develop monthly meeting content, process-specific talking points, and field feedback frameworks that translate complex ERP changes into plain language accessible to frontline workers, supervisors, and non-desk employees
- Monitor network participation and engagement across sites and shifts, identify coverage gaps, and coordinate with the OCM Lead to address risks before go-live
Communications and Stakeholder Engagement
- Execute a structured, ADKAR-aligned communications plan for a diverse workforce that includes shop floor workers, shift-based employees, office staff, and international locations, reaching people where they are and not just through email
- Draft and distribute audience-targeted content across multiple channels, including email, SharePoint, intranet, supervisor cascade scripts, and display screens; manage the communications calendar and maintain cadence through go-live
- Coordinate pulse survey distribution, synthesize results, and deliver readiness insights to program leadership
Change Impact Assessment Readouts and Finalization
- Stakeholder interviews are substantially complete; the primary deliverable in this workstream is synthesizing findings into polished, executive-facing summary presentations and process area readout decks
- Requires strong PowerPoint design and visual storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex, nuanced findings into clear and compelling slides for senior leadership audiences
- Coordinate readout scheduling and delivery with the OCM Lead, managing senior stakeholder expectations and facilitating discussion of findings at the leadership level
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven track record of leading end-to-end organizational change management on enterprise ERP implementations, from stakeholder assessment and impact analysis through training, go-live, and sustainment
- Prior Big 4 or top-tier management consulting firm experience required, with demonstrated ownership of OCM workstreams on large-scale technology transformation programs
- Exceptional PowerPoint and presentation skills; must be able to develop executive-ready deliverables independently and facilitate readouts with senior leaders with confidence and credibility
- Demonstrated experience designing and managing change agent or ambassador programs in complex, multi-site, multi-functional organizations
- Track record of building and executing structured communications strategies for diverse employee populations, including hourly workers, shift-based teams, and non-desk employees
- Strong background in change impact assessment, with the ability to synthesize stakeholder findings into clear, actionable insights and leadership-facing deliverables
- Comfortable in high-change environments where employees are transitioning from informal processes, manual workflows, and spreadsheet-driven operations to system-driven ERP execution
- Able to work independently, manage competing deliverables under time pressure, and maintain clear alignment with the OCM Lead without close supervision
- Experience in manufacturing, energy, oil and gas, or operations-intensive industrial sectors strongly preferred
- Houston, TX location strongly preferred; must be available for on-site presence at client facilities as needed
- 1099 contractor status required
PREFERRED
- PROSCI certification or equivalent change management credential
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management ERP implementation experience
- Working knowledge of ADKAR as a delivery methodology applied at the process and floor level, not just as a framework
- Experience on programs serving shop floor, shift-based, or non-desk employee populations
- Experience supporting go-live readiness activities including change agent deployment, readiness assessments, and cutover communications
