Setup Technician and is seeking an experienced machine operator to fill the role. The position would report to the Tool Crib Supervisor, with a standard work schedule of M-F, 7am- 3pm. Overtime may be required. Starting rate of pay is $25 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assembling tooling and paperwork required for plating line changeover in advance, which would include things like: Masking belts, Stripe tools, Face plates, Spot tools, Contacts, Traveler and associated check sheets, Any other items needed for a changeover that can be prepared in advance
- Preparing changeover planners
- Assisting with changeovers when available
- Inspection and organized storage of tooling and equipment removed during changeovers
- Preparing for PM cycles: Assembling replacement parts and Locating and staging empty drums
- Assisting with PM efforts when available
- Frequent interaction with Production Manager, Production Foremen, Operators, Engineering, and others
- Maintaining a tour-ready workstation
- Stripping / wire wheeling of brush contacts to prepare them for re-brushing
- Repair activities to include plumbing, drilling, tapping, assembly work, and installing inserts & taping of faceplates
- Operate bench grinders, wire wheel, drills, sanders, and other various hand tools
- Organize, store and inventory all plating equipment & interleaf paper Continuously supports plant-wide housekeeping initiatives
- Maintains a tour ready tool crib at all times.
- Supports company goals
- Follows all safety rules and regulations
- Participating on 5S teams to help implement and sustain 5S initiatives throughout the facility
- Participate in 5S audits and report findings
- Collect information about occurring non-conformities and hazards in areas and assist with identifying opportunities for improvement
- Perform daily responsibilities in support of 5S: S*ort / Straighten / Sweep / Standardize / Sustain
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum high school graduate or equivalent
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Production Operator preferred
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and perform cooperatively with others
- Ability to hear, see, occasionally bend, stoop and kneel, stand for 8 to 12 hours per day, and push, pull or lift up to 50lbs as needed to perform essential job functions
- Manual dexterity needed to perform some job functions
- Environment may be high temperatures depending on ambient outside temperature
- Safety glasses, steel or composite toe boots required
- Other PPE may be required and will be supplied by the company
- Could be exposed to background noise, odors, or dust
