The Opportunity
Precious Plate is hiring Quality Inspectors to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for visual inspections and disposition of finished goods in accordance with customer requirements and ISO regulations. This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday, reporting to the Quality Manager. We are looking to hire 1st Shift (6am-2pm) and 2nd Shift (2pm-10pm). Precious Plate is hiring Quality Inspectors to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for visual inspections and disposition of finished goods in accordance with customer requirements and ISO regulations. This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday, reporting to the Quality Manager. We are looking to hire 1st Shift (6am-2pm) and 2nd Shift (2pm-10pm). Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Final product release – perform final inspection of strip stock products from the plating line
- Obey all safety rules and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum high school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to read, write and understand verbal and written instructions
- Ability to identify and communicate quality problems to supervisor
- Math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to work independently and perform cooperatively with others
- Manual dexterity needed to perform some job functions
- Computer knowledge
- Positive interpersonal skills, can lead by example and has the ability and willingness to make decisions
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must exhibit consistently proper attendance
- Must be able to lift 35lbs
- Environment may be high temperatures depending on ambient outside temperature
- Safety glasses, steel or composite toe boots, and hearing protection required
- Other PPE may be required depending on responsibilities
- Could be exposed to background noise, odors, or dust

- Final product release – perform final inspection of strip stock products from the plating line

- Minimum high school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to read, write and understand verbal and written instructions
- Ability to identify and communicate quality problems to supervisor
- Math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to work independently and perform cooperatively with others
- Manual dexterity needed to perform some job functions
- Computer knowledge
- Positive interpersonal skills, can lead by example and has the ability and willingness to make decisions
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must exhibit consistently proper attendance
