Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards while incorporating innovative teaching methods.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive and respectful learning atmosphere.
- Utilize learning technology to enhance educational experiences and support student engagement.
- Conduct assessments and standardized testing to evaluate student progress and adapt instructional methods accordingly.
- Foster communication with parents and guardians regarding student development, classroom activities, and behavioral management strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and other relevant information.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education and special education.
Experience
- Proven experience in classroom management, preferably within preschool childhood or special education settings.
- Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing effective teaching strategies tailored to diverse learners.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Previous experience working in daycare or preschool environments is a must.
