TEMPORARY PRESCHOOL TEACHER POSITION (July 27th - August 17th)
Established and licensed home-based preschool is looking for a warm-hearted individual to join our team temporarily, while one of our teachers is out on leave.
The perfect candidate will have a genuine love for working with children, kind and energetic. Great communication skills and the ability to properly manage groups of children at a time is a must. You do NOT need ECE units for this particular position, however, you do need prior experience working in the childcare field.
You will work along side another teacher and responsible for engaging students in fun and exciting activities. Other duties include but are not limited to; diapering, light cleanup of children's areas, food service and the overall close supervision of all the children in care.
Work Environment:
- Excellent ratios: Always 2 - 3 teachers working together with a total of 12 students per day.
- Busy, yet well organized, laid back and happy work conditions
- Owner that has 26 years experience working as a preschool teacher
- Preschool is established with a long standing great reputation within our community
Requirements:
*Livescan Clearance
*TB test
*Proof of Pertussis and Measles Vaccines
*Mandated Reporter Training
Position Hours: M-F 9:00am - 4:30pm (30 minute unpaid lunch break)
Dates: Temporary position runs from July 27th - August 17th
