Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times during their stay.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills.
- Support infants and toddlers with feeding, diapering, nap routines, and developmental milestones.
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and discipline when necessary.
- Assist with classroom organization, activity planning, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily experiences.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when needed, to ensure a secure setting for children.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Ability to care for infants and toddlers with patience, compassion, and enthusiasm.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, team members, and children.
