We are looking for a compassionate and dependable COTA to join our home health team. Working under the supervision of a licensed OT, you'll provide individualized therapy services that help patients improve their independence, safety, and quality of life in their home. Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatments according to the established plan of care under the direction of a licensed OT
- Assist patients in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living and functional mobility
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and the safe use of equipment
- Observes, documents and reports patient progress and changes in condition to the supervising OT
- Maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Current Ohio COTA license
- Current CPR and/or BLS certification
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
- Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Home health experience is preferred but not required
