What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher position at Pre-K Preparatory Learning Academy Inc.?
- Arrange a classroom environment in accordance to program goals and philosophy
- Provide direct care and assistance to children
- Assist group supervisor with both long and short range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy.
- Provide input for bi-annual assessment of children's development
- Maintain daily open communication with parents
- Maintain confidentiality
- Report any suspect abuse to supervisor
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Inspect and replace damaged or lost materials
- Attend in-service and staff meetings/training
- Keep all appropriate records such as accident reports, attendance and timesheets.
- Meet all applicable licensing regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
