What are the responsibilities and job description for the Erector Crew position at PRE-CAST SPECIALTIES LLC?
Position Summary:
The Hollowcore Erector is responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient installation of hollowcore planks, precast double t’s and precast stairs. Working under the direction of the Hollowcore Erection Supervisor and Foreman, this role supports all field erection activities, including rigging, setting, welding, grouting, and general jobsite needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the rigging and safe placement of hollowcore planks and other precast components.

Install hardware, bearing pads, grout, and other materials as directed.

Help ensure components are properly aligned, leveled, and secured.

Maintain clean and organized work areas, removing debris and ensuring safe access.

Wear required PPE and participate in daily safety briefings/JHAs.

Immediately report unsafe conditions, hazards, or incidents to the Foreman.

Ensure proper use and care of rigging gear, ladders, and fall protection equipment.

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Experience in construction or concrete-related field (precast experience preferred).

Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

Basic understanding of safe rigging and crane operations (training provided if needed).

Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various job sites.

Ability to travel out of town for up to a week at a time.
Work Environment:

Exposure to outdoor weather conditions for long periods of time.

Work performed on active construction site, making attention to detail key.

Primarily working on the roof, working at a high elevation (no fear of heights).

Long days to ensure project deadlines.
