CONTEXT: Our client is seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to develop new business and grow accounts across construction, industrial, infrastructure, and event-based projects. This role focuses on selling site services solutions (portable sanitation, dumpsters, and related services) by targeting active and upcoming job sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospect and secure new business across construction, infrastructure, industrial, and project-based environments.
- Build relationships with project managers, superintendents, and procurement teams.
- Manage full sales cycle: lead generation → proposal → close → follow-up.
- Monitor project pipelines to identify upcoming opportunities.
- Conduct site visits and develop project-specific solutions and pricing.
- Partner with operations to ensure execution and customer satisfaction.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of outside B2B sales experience.
- Experience in construction, rentals, waste/site services, or logistics preferred.
- Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and closing skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage a territory independently.
- Comfortable working in the field and visiting job sites.
- CRM experience (e.g., HubSpot).
- Valid driver’s license.
