The Human Resources Manager will oversee all routine functions of the HR department, including hiring, interviewing, training, benefits management, and policy enforcement. This role is essential for fostering a positive and productive work environment, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and contributing to the company’s overall strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Daily Operations:
- Oversee the daily workflow of the HR department.
- Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
2) Employee Relations:
- Handle employee discipline and termination in accordance with company policy.
- Support and guide HR generalists, management, and staff on complex and sensitive issues.
3) Strategic HR Partnership:
- Partner with the leadership team to develop and execute HR and talent strategies aligned with the company’s current and future needs.
- Manage talent acquisition processes, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring for managerial and professional roles.
4) Talent Management:
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits to propose competitive pay programs.
- Develop learning and development programs to provide internal growth opportunities.
5) Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to maintain compliance.
6) Additional Duties:
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of three years of HR experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification highly desired.
