What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Coordinator position at Praxis Packaging Solutions?
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting Operations Management in the daily administration of the Operations Department.
- Communicate any issues/concerns to Operations Management/ Supervisor and production staff to ensure that quality filling and packaging criteria are being met.
- Gather data, research information, review documentation for accuracy, and relay findings to internal personnel.
- Bulk allocation - create work orders, work order approval, and release of documents to Quality for final review.
- Process re-work instructions and customer reports.
- Review customer specifications and input into ERP system.
- Generate art cards as required.
- Design and print shipper labels as required by customer.
- Support In-Process and End of Lot Inspectors when necessary as it applies to their position.
- Assist in general administrative duties when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates Degree or equivalent combination preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Basic Mechanical and mathematical aptitude required.
- The ability to work independently, without supervision required.
- Ability to organize priorities and workload required.
