The Sales Manager Trainee position provides hands-on experience in customer engagement, sales techniques, and executing marketing strategies. As a Sales Manager Trainee, you will be pivotal in building long-lasting client relationships, serving as trusted advisors, driving sales revenue, and creating tailored solutions to meet unique consumer and business telecommunications needs through our residential campaign for AT&T. Our Sales Manager Trainees aim to deliver unparalleled customer experiences from the first interaction and through every follow-up.
Responsibilities of a Sales Manager Trainee:
- Represent AT&T, a global leader in telecommunications, as you manage and grow client accounts directly through our lead-based, residential campaign
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and current customers, serving as their primary point of contact for all inquiries, requests, and support needs throughout the sales process
- Proactively engage with customers to understand their telecommunications needs, preferences, and inquiries
- Present tailored solutions to meet customer needs with AT&T's cutting-edge products and services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of marketing & sales activities and customer interactions
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, AT&T technical support, and compliance, to ensure seamless delivery of services and resolution of customer issues
- Stay informed about the latest telecommunications products, services, and promotions to educate and inform customers, as necessary, effectively
Qualifications of the Sales Manager Trainee:
- Must be 18 years or older to apply; a high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Experience: 0-2 years in sales, customer service, or a fast-paced, dynamic environment such as retail, hospitality, or a startup is preferred
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is a plus, but not required
- Skills: Ability to work independently, results-driven, persuasive, positive attitude, and resilient
- Willingness to learn and grow in a sales-driven environment, with a genuine interest in advancing a career in the telecommunications and/or marketing industry
