Corporate Litigation Counsel / Legal Investment Analyst

Position Summary
Pravati Capital is seeking a motivated Corporate Litigation Counsel / Legal Investment Analyst to join our growing team. This unique role provides attorneys with the opportunity to blend litigation experience with financial and business analysis while gaining direct exposure to the fast-growing field of litigation finance.
The position involves collaboration with both the legal and executive leadership teams. The successful candidate will work on a wide variety of complex business and legal issues, including evaluating litigation finance opportunities, handling company litigation and arbitration matters, and advising senior management on legal and strategic matters.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle litigation and arbitration matters internally and with outside counsel.
- Provide legal counsel and guidance to executives and senior management on matters related to contracts, UCCs, SEC regulations, employment law, and other areas impacting a private investment fund.
- Conduct due diligence on potential litigation finance investments, including case assessment, review of financial statements, and risk analysis.
- Research, track, and analyze industry and legal developments relevant to litigation finance and investment strategy.
- Review contracts and legal documents; recommend revisions as necessary.
- Represent or oversee representation of Pravati in judicial, arbitration (including AAA), and administrative proceedings, as well as in negotiations.
- Draft reports, memoranda, and recommendations for both litigation matters and investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with law firms, claimants, and industry professionals to gather information and strengthen relationships.
- Select and oversee outside counsel as needed; supervise legal work of paralegals and consultants.
- Maintain professional growth and development to stay current on litigation finance law and related fields.
Education, Skills & Experience
- JD from an accredited law school and active Arizona State Bar membership (required).
- 1–3 years of litigation experience in personal injury and/or commercial litigation (preferred).
- Experience handling matters before the American Arbitration Association (AAA) or other arbitration/mediation forums (preferred).
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Interest in finance, private equity, or business strategy (prior experience a plus but not required).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex legal and financial concepts to varied audiences.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting.
