Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team on a part time basis serving a luxury independent living. Duties
- Assess patients’ functional abilities and develop individualized care plans aligned with their goals and medical needs
- Implement therapeutic interventions in a senior living and in-home setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including speech therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, and caregivers
- Manage case documentation accurately and maintain detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Educate patients and families about treatment goals, progress, and strategies for continued improvement
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices in physical therapy
Requirements
- Valid physical therapy license in the state of California
- Experience working in outpatient clinics; additional experience in inpatient, skilled nursing facilities, home health, or school-based settings is preferred
- Familiarity with working with diverse populations including geriatrics, individuals with autism or disabilities
- Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and patient care principles
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and educating patients and families
