The Military Engines Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) team located in West Palm Beach, FL has an immediate opening for an ambitious and engaging APU Spares Lead. You will become a part of the APU team responsible for all aspects of spares management including data analytics, customer management, proposals, orders, forecast, parts allocations, customer reviews, parts logistics and payments.
While this position is hybrid in West Palm Beach, FL final location is dependent on candidate experience and qualifications.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day financial execution of the APU Spares business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating a monthly shipment commitment, collaborating with operations, supply chain, logistics, and delivery assurance to ensure the commitment is achieved, and ensuring the spares budget is properly allocated and forecasted.
- You will manage the quotation process and ensure quotes are responded to in a timely manner.
- The key function in this role is to support overall APU aftermarket spare part sales. Strong analytical skills, ability to learn new systems quickly, capability to prioritize daily tasks, and ability to work independently under pressure on multiple projects are all critical to success in this role.
- You will be responsible for utilizing metrics to drive process improvements and corrective actions for underperforming areas.
- You will be the first point of escalation for any customer issues and must be capable of making both data and strategy-based decisions and take accountability for those decisions.
- This position requires strong communication and presentation skills – both written and verbal.
- You may also manage a small set of customers where you will be required perform the duties of a spares analyst which include order entry and management, quotes, and customer reviews.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required, preference for business, engineering, finance, operations, or supply chain management. Degrees in other fields will be considered with appropriate work experience. Final grade level is dependent on candidate experience and qualifications.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience is required with preference for experience in Program/Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Business.
- Demonstrated success in managing a project
- US Citizenship is required due to government contracts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SAP
- Knowledge of PW supply chain and operations
- Previous customer service experience
- Knowledge of DPAS and other related government requirements
