Job Summary: Leads the development of information technology (IT) programs and services for the Pratt Regional Medical Center. Leads the organization in planning and implementing enterprise information systems to support centralized and satellite clinical and business operations. Provides leadership and direction on PRMC's information systems, to include IT strategic planning, budgeting, coordination and integration of all PRMC IT matters. Oversees and provides recommendations to IT policy for PRMC and its components. Provides leadership and direction on PRMC’s information security, digital security, and physical security systems. Oversees IT regulatory compliance programs including HIPAA Security, MIPS/MACRA, Promoting Interoperability, and others. Provides leadership and direction of the Plant Operations of PRMC.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

- Leads strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation and coordination of information technology (IT) systems for PRMC.
- Works collaboratively with senior management and key end users across functional areas to identify and prioritize IT initiatives for the organization to meet business needs.
- Leads and coordinates the process to develop, maintain and administer a technology plan that is based on current and future organizational needs; supports the mission and long-range goals of PRMC.
- Negotiates contracts with and coordinates activities of hardware, software, support, and training vendors.
- Represents and reports on the performance of the IT portfolio including actual vs. expected results, budgets, and project duration.
- Provides organization-wide leadership in the development, management and operation of integrated information services; leads the review of current IT systems and processes, as well as the development of new and enhanced clinical and business operations systems.
- Establishes and maintains a service-oriented, customer-focused operation that enhances the current IT function and further promotes efficiency, quality, customer service and growth.
- Designs, establishes, and maintains an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the organization's goals and objectives; oversees the management of personnel to include recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of staff.
- Develops and administers policies and standards to ensure data integrity, security and shared use; ensures that standards are applied throughout the organization.
- Ensures information systems operate according to internal standards, external accrediting agency standards and legal requirements.
- Oversees cross-institutional initiatives and executive-level projects, fostering strategic partnerships in carrying out enterprise-wide computing services for PRMC and its components.
- Chairs for various PRMC advisory committees
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: Master’s level degree in IT Management preferred, such as an MBA-MIS or MMIS. Minimum 3 years of experience in leadership or management in healthcare IT.
