Die Room 2nd Shift

As a Cutting Die Mounter, you play a critical role in preparing our converting equipment for production. You are responsible for accurately mounting printing dies and ensuring all materials are properly set up to meet customer specifications. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality help ensure efficient production and high-quality corrugated products

Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) — Must be available for overtime and occasional weekend work as needed

What You’ll Do

• Mount printing dies and cutting dies according to job specifications and setup requirements
• Inspect and proof dies and printing mounts to ensure accuracy and quality before production
• Repair or touch up dies and mounts as needed to minimize downtime and maintain production flow
• Pull, file, and organize printing mounts, dies, and print cards in proper sequence
• Layout printing mounts and verify proper positioning
• Wash and maintain printing plates prior to storage
• Monitor and report damaged or worn dies to supervision for replacement
• Support production by pulling machine lineups and preparing materials for upcoming jobs
• Maintain accurate records including production, quality, and operational data
• Submit ink inventory and manage storage of inks and related materials
• Communicate with production and supervision to address setup or scheduling issues
• Follow production schedules and recommend improvements to support efficiency and quality
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures

• Prior experience in corrugated manufacturing or die mounting is preferred but not required
  
  

What To Expect On The Job

• This role operates in a manufacturing environment and requires standing, walking, and frequent use of hands and arms throughout the shift
• You will work closely with production teams to support machine setup and workflow
• The facility is not climate controlled, which means it can be very hot in the summer and cold in the winter
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hearing protection, protective footwear, and safety glasses must be worn at all times
