What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at PRASCO?
Job Description:
- Follow all SOP's and COPS's as directed
Daily cleaning:
- Kitchen, bathrooms, lobby, trash, soap and paper stocked, CEO's entire work area
- Ensures thorough daily, monthly and seasonal cleaning in every aspect of our facilities and equipment
- Monitors inventory of supplies and orders appropriate materials and stock items
- Coordinates pickup and delivery of items serviced by outside vendors
- Creates and maintains a fluid housekeeping schedule
- Provides periodic assistance to department heads with the arrangements of special events
- Purchases necessary supplies from outside vendors
- Assists with the facilitation of inspections by outside vendors
Physical Factors and Environment
- Required to stand the majority of time and sit, talk, see and hear. Required to walk, lift and move up to 30 pounds. Must use hands and fingers to operate equipment/controls/computer.
- Must have the ability to adjust focus for unplanned activities and other duties as assigned. Daily contact requires courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment.
- The majority of the work environment is indoors but outdoor work periodically required. The noise level in the work environment ranges from moderately quiet to loud
Qualifications:
Experience & Education Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Special Skills Required:
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Time management
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Flexibility
