- Provides technical support and problem resolution for information systems customers.
- Provides network setup and support for all locations.
- Provides insight and manages an equipment retirement/upgrade and support schedule.
- Configures, installs, and supports microcomputer hardware and software.
- Develops and communicates standards for use, operations, and security of the network, personal computers, and data.
- Maintains and manages necessary hardware and operating licenses.
- Collects and analyzes network and memory utilization.
- Researches, evaluates, and recommends new hardware and software technologies.
- Develops and writes specifications and procedures for the installation and use of a variety of information system technologies.
- Responds to the needs and questions of network users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software programs.
- Provide superior customer support to internal and external customers for all company systems and applications.
- Provide “best practices” for operating all business systems.
- Assist with evaluating future business systems to improve functionality and ease of use.
- Manage and support mobile devices and accounts.
- Provide a vast knowledge of MS Office products, among other business-related software.
- Manage and provide insight into communication resources, including social media.
- Maintain and manage necessary software licensing.
- Proven professional communication and customer service skills and the ability to comprehend simple instructions and communicate one-on-one and in small groups with customers and other employees. Demonstrated time management and basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, along with the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

- Requires a high school degree or the equivalent.
- Two (2) years or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of information technology skills.
- Previous experience providing technical or help-desk support preferred.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, computers, printers, mobile devices, and common business technology.
- Basic understanding of networking, wireless connectivity, cybersecurity, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to explain technical information to individuals with varying levels of technical knowledge. Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with teammates at all levels.
- Ability to identify and address issues in a proactive manner.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and teammates.
Demonstrate essential abilities, including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Follow safety and compliance standards to help ensure their well-being and the safety of others.
- Ability to work hours other than those considered normal at various times throughout the year to meet deadlines and demands.
- The role will require regular travel to other company locations or industry events, with the ability to travel independently and stay overnight as needed. Ability and willingness to participate in required training, including education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training related to the position’s requirements.
