Dining Hours: 6am-6pm (Two shifts available; 6am-2pm and 10am-6pm)
What You’ll Do
- Create with Care: Prepare meals following standardized recipes, ensuring every plate meets our high standards for nutrition and taste.
- Bring the Energy: Contribute to a positive, upbeat kitchen vibe where teamwork, laughter, and high energy make the shift fly by.
- Grow Your Skills: From baking breads to mastering quantity food prep, you’ll receive on-the-job training and professional development.
- Collaborate: Work closely with physicians (for therapeutic diets) and your fellow staff to ensure our patients’ needs are always met.
- Keep it Clean: Maintain a safe, sanitary workspace because culinary excellence starts with a pristine kitchen.
What You’ll Bring
- Education: A High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 6 months of work experience (food service preferred, but we love a quick learner with a great attitude!).
- Communication: Ability to read, write, and follow directions with a positive, cooperative, and fun-loving spirit.
- Physical Agility: This is a high-energy role! You should be comfortable standing/walking for 90% of your shift, lifting up to 30 lbs, and working in various kitchen temperatures.
- Compliance: Must be able to pass all state-mandated background checks, including KDADS and PRTF specific screenings.
