Transformational Program Manager Job Description: This is not just a technical project; it is a business transformation. You will be responsible for the end-to-end program, from strategic planning and roadmap development to governance, cross-functional execution, and successful adoption. The ideal candidate is a master of navigating ambiguity, a brilliant communicator, and has a proven track record of leading complex, post-merger technology integrations.
Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations
Strategic Program Leadership: Develop, own, and execute the end-to-end program. Define program scope, goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with executive-level business objectives.
Integration & Consolidation: Drive the strategy for consolidating disparate systems from acquired entities into a single, unified ecosystem.
Governance & Reporting: Establish and manage a robust program governance framework. Facilitate steering committee meetings, providing clear and concise status updates, risk analyses, and decision-support materials to C-suite and VP-level stakeholders.
Stakeholder & Change Management: Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and business leaders. Proactively manage expectations, navigate competing priorities, and drive consensus among diverse stakeholder groups from different corporate cultures.
Cross-Functional Orchestration: Lead and coordinate multiple interdependent project streams (e.g., data migration, system configuration, process re-engineering, testing, training) to ensure they remain aligned and on schedule.
Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate program-level risks, issues, and dependencies. Be the "lookout " who sees challenges coming weeks or months in advance and mobilizes the team to address them.
Financial & Resource Management: Oversee the master program budget, tracking spend and managing forecasts. Coordinate with resource managers to ensure projects are staffed appropriately.
Skills:
Transformation Leadership: A proven track record of successfully leading at least one (preferably more) large-scale, complex IT transformation program from start to finish.
Stakeholder Finesse: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills. You are comfortable and credible presenting to C-level executives and can just as easily build rapport with technical architects and business analysts.
Salary : $80 - $85
