Hours of Operation: normal clinic hours and shifts, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays
Duties:
Dental assistants perform full-scope clinical duties following appropriate state licensing and clinical policies. This includes but is not limited to checking in patients, rooming patients, taking vital signs, taking radiographs, providing appropriate stress-reduction techniques to anxious patients.
Provide high-quality, attentive chairside treatment such as suction, instrument passing, and procedure setup and take-down.
Infection control duties include instrument reprocessing following applicable guidelines and service unit policies.
Clerical duties of maintaining patient records, and scheduling appointments.

Requirements:
- Have minimum of high school diploma
- Preference is for licensed/registered dental assistant with certification from an accredited program.
- If assistant is unlicensed, they must have five (5) years’ experience and maintain dental radiographer training and license. Assistants without radiographer license will not be an acceptable candidate.
- Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Prairie Band, LLC is subject to Title 22: Employment Code of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. In accordance with Title 22, this position is designated as a TIER 2 position. Preference will be given to individuals to the extent required pursuant to Section 22-2-4(B).
