Prager Moving & Storage is a multi award-winning Atlas Van Lines agent located in Batavia, IL.
Prager specializes in local, national & international relocations as well as storage for both private and corporate transferees. We also offer commercial & industrial warehousing and provide logistics and moving project services. We are a top-quality agent in the Chicagoland area and are seeking a diverse Customer Service Move Coordinator.
This role will work with our household goods and logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate household good relocations for customers by acting as main point of contact throughout their relocation.
Review, prioritize & complete assigned daily tasks for each relocation utilizing Movers Suite tasking.
Handle customer calls & inquiries during pre-move, move & post-move processes.
Act as liaison between salesperson, customer, partners & operations team to ensure successful relocation.
Answer general customer service calls and address customer needs or direct to appropriate representative.
Communicate shipment status with customer & client representatives.
Assist sales with scheduling survey appointments for customers, as needed.
Review pre-move survey results and provide estimates to customers.
Coordinate with customer, clients & operations team to schedule move dates and services.
Quote and coordinate in-house logistics account requests.
Back up customer service team coordinators to ensure all tasks are successfully completed each day.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualities/Skills of the Successful Move Coordinator:
Ability to multitask, prioritize & work efficiently, especially during high volume peak season.
Ability to forge and maintain relationships with accounts and service providers.
Strong detail orientation required.
Ability to interpret & represent the customers' needs.
Ability to handle conflict & difficult customer situations should they arise.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently & with a team as situation requires.
Microsoft Office knowledge...Outlook, Excel, Word.
Experience:
5 years customer service or customer facing experience is preferred.
3 years experience in relocation or transportation industry is preferred.
Work Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm (In Office)
