Key Responsibilities
- Site Inspections & Validations: Perform daily walk-throughs of the "Fab" to inspect electrical infrastructure, including switchgear, UPS systems, transformers, and distribution panels.
- Documentation & Checklists: Execute and manage comprehensive QA/QC checklists. Ensure all "As-Built" drawings and specifications accurately reflect site conditions.
- Third-Party Representation: Act as a neutral, professional representative for Praetorian. Interface with electrical contractors to identify deficiencies (Punch Lists) and verify their resolution.
- Testing Oversight: Witness and validate Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT). Coordinate with Commissioning (Cx) teams to ensure seamless handoff.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all work complies with NEC, NFPA 70E, and specific semiconductor facility standards (e.g., SEMI guidelines).
- Reporting: Generate detailed daily and weekly quality reports for stakeholders, highlighting risks, delays, or non-conforming work.
- Experience: 3–7 years of experience in Electrical QA/QC, Commissioning (Cx), or as a Project Engineer/Superintendent for a large-scale electrical contractor.
- Technical Background: Strong understanding of high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems. Ability to read one-line diagrams, schematics, and P&IDs.
- Environment: Prior experience working in a Semiconductor Fab, Data Center, or similar cleanroom/industrial environment is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Must be assertive yet professional. You are representing Praetorian’s reputation and must be able to hold contractors accountable to high standards.
- Certifications: Journeyman or Master Electrician license, NETA certification, or an Engineering degree (BSEE) is a significant plus.
- Ability to spend 80-90% of the day on your feet within a construction/manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable wearing PPE and Cleanroom "Bunny Suits" as required by facility protocols.
