Pre-Construction Manager

Praetorian Power Protection, the leader in NETA testing and staff augmentation to the mission critical industry, is partnering with a top ENR General Contractor in the Indianapolis metro. They are looking for a results-oriented Preconstruction Manager with experience in construction planning, estimating, and project management to join our Indianapolis team. This fast-paced department aims to provide professional preconstruction and virtual construction services for large-scale Commercial, K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare, and Municipal projects.

Role Overview

As a PreConstruction Manager, you will provide comprehensive preconstruction services, including estimating, scheduling, value engineering, and risk management. You will collaborate closely with owners, architects, and operations teams to research market conditions and historical cost data while managing material quantifications and bid solicitations.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning: Provide detailed reviews of design plans and specifications for a wide range of institutional clients.
• Procurement: Lead bid solicitation and subcontractor outreach/procurement on multiple large-scale commercial projects.
• Analysis: Work on material quantifications, scopes, and price building materials and labor.
• Scheduling: Develop bid solicitations and detailed schedule planning.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of two years of experience as part of a preconstruction or construction operations team.
• Education: Professional degree in construction management or a related field (mechanical or civil engineering, construction technology, architecture, business administration).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Assemble, OST, CAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project.
• Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Revit, Sketchup, Bluebeam, Procore, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Delivery Methods: Experience with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods.
• Logistics: A valid Driver’s License and willingness to relocate to or near Indianapolis, IN.
• Core Competencies: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment committed to client service.
