Praetorian Power Protection, a leader in NETA testing and commissioning for the mission critical industry, is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety programs across our operations. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA, client, and regulatory safety requirements while continuously improving safety systems and practices that support safe execution of field and site activities, including active data center environments.
The EHS Manager serves as the primary owner of company safety programs, field safety credentials, incident management, and related compliance activities, working closely with field leadership and operations to maintain a strong, proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all elements of the company’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, client safety requirements, and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs) for projects and job sites.
- Manage and track all required safety training and credentials, including but not limited to OSHA, First Aid/CPR, Confined Space, and other job-specific certifications.
- Oversee field licensing, NETA certification compliance, and continuing education (CEU) requirements for applicable personnel.
- Manage company-issued PPE, including procurement, inventory, and compliance (e.g., gloves, arc flash suits, face shields).
- Conduct periodic site visits to assess safety compliance, observe work practices, and support field teams.
- Manage and investigate safety incidents, near misses, and vehicle incidents; coordinate claims and corrective actions.
- Maintain OSHA logs and reporting requirements.
- Manage L&I claims and coordinate with internal teams, insurers, and external stakeholders as required.
- Oversee company-owned vehicle safety programs and compliance related to fleet use.
- Partner with Operations and Field Leadership to continuously improve safety processes, documentation, and training.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related audits, inspections, and client inquiries.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in an EHS, Safety Manager, or similar role within construction, commissioning, electrical, or mission-critical environments.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and field safety requirements.
- Experience developing and enforcing safety programs, procedures, and site-specific safety plans.
- Familiarity with data center, electrical, or high-risk industrial environments preferred.
- Experience managing incident investigations, OSHA reporting, and workers’ compensation / L&I claims.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of company-wide safety responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with field personnel and leadership.
- Willingness to travel to job sites as required..

Salary : $110,000 - $115,000
