- Oversee pre-energization walks for data center Building Management Systems (BMS) and controls, ensuring compliance and managing third-party inspection support.
- Lead resolution of BMS and controls-related Cx software and technical issues to optimize data center performance.
- Direct coordination of access for L3/L4/L5 testing of BMS and control systems, including escorts and badge access management.
- Manage technical documentation review for BMS and controls at gating levels (L3 Startup, L4 72hr Lookahead, etc.).
- Supervise startup/shutdown activities for data center BMS and control systems, leading L4/L5 readiness walks with Cx Agent.
- Manage vendor and trade partner coordination for BMS and controls L3 startup and L4/L5 commissioning activities.
- Approve and validate LOTO plans for BMS and control systems, ensuring compliance with data center-specific COHE policies.
- Oversee review and implementation of Method of Procedures (MOPs) for BMS and controls Cx scope in data centers.
- Direct L3/L4 script reviews for BMS and control systems, providing strategic input and approvals.
- Lead pre-energization walks to ensure BMS and controls equipment readiness, coordinating with Mechanical & Electrical Superintendent teams.
- Manage Cx-related BIM issue identification and resolution for BMS and control systems in data center environments.
- Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve L3/L4 BMS and controls issues critical to data center operations.
- Assign and oversee additional duties to achieve team and data center project objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, controls engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in BMS and controls commissioning for data centers, with 2 years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise in data center BMS platforms (e.g., Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls, Siemens) and control systems integration.
- Proven experience in data center commissioning management (vendor, Cx agent, subcontractor, or GC Cx management).
- Strong knowledge of LOTO/Control of Hazardous Energy Programs specific to data center BMS and controls.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex BMS and controls scopes in high-availability data center environments.
Salary : $60 - $70
