Arkansas Children’s, in partnership with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible pediatric nephrologist. Successful candidates will join the state’s only pediatric health system and play a key role in shaping the future of children’s health in our region.

The private, non-profit organization includes two pediatric hospitals with 361 licensed beds, a pediatric research institute and USDA nutrition center, a philanthropic foundation, a nursery alliance, statewide clinics, and many education and outreach programs — all focused on fulfilling a promise to define, discover and deliver unprecedented child health. - The state’s only in-center outpatient pediatric hemodialysis unit with dedicated pediatric staff, and an active outpatient home peritoneal dialysis program
- We offer all modalities for kidney replacement therapy including neonatal CKRT
- Active ECMO program, which utilizes CKRT
- The state’s only accredited renal transplant program with dedicated renal transplant clinic
- Large outpatient clinical service available at all our locations, with more than 5,000 visits annually including specialty clinics in vasculitis, complex renal/bladder disorders, kidney stones, tuberous sclerosis, and dedicated hypertension clinic
- Robust 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitor program with 600 studies each year with dedicated ABPM-trained staff
