- Position Type:Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
- Schedule:40 hours per week, 50% clinic, 50% OR as First Assist
- Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan

- Hospital Info: Ann Arbor - Level 1 Trauma and Chelsea hospital
- Team Size: 14 Orthopedists - this position will work with a Sports Medicine Provider
- Teaching Opportunities:Yes - Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
- Call Requirements: Once the APP comp model is complete, the practice wants to add APPs to Group call. No ED call.

- 1-2 years of post-graduate PA experience, preferably in an orthopedic or surgical specialty of Sports Medicine
- Demonstrated clinical judgment, procedural proficiency, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced orthopedic setting supporting the Sports Medicine specialty.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and engagement
- APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
- BLS certification (must be maintained)/ ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

- Providing direct patient care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in teaching and mentoring
- Documenting in Epic EMR
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community health efforts
