This metro‑area practice provides advanced oncology care within a multidisciplinary, high‑volume cancer center supported by a robust regional network.
Position Details
This is primarily a clinic focused position located at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN. May cover other Cancer Institute sites in the NW region as needed.
- Full‑time Hematology/Oncology APP position, may consider 0.8 or 0.9 FTE
- Open to Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
- Combination of outpatient oncology care with inpatient collaboration
- Treat patients with solid tumors and hematologic conditions
- Integrated team model with physicians, infusion services, and nurse navigation
- This role includes caring for active treatment patients, infusion center support, and survivorship visits.
- Inpatient rounding per department scheduling.
- Potential for future weekend rounding.
- Epic EMR for seamless care coordination
- Privademic care model combining academic-level medicine with community-based practice
- Team of 100 oncology specialists, including medical, radiation, and surgical oncologists
- 18 comprehensive cancer care locations across Minnesota and western Wisconsin
- Excellent multidisciplinary approach to treatments with multi-disciplinary tumor boards
- Our own multi-center research program with the ability for investigator-initiated, industry-sponsored, and cooperative group clinical trials (Phase 1-3)
- In-house genomic laboratory supporting personalized cancer treatment
- Industry-leading integrative oncology and high-risk cancer surveillance programs
- The use of artificial intelligence tools for documentation, charting, and supporting cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Required Qualifications
- Master's degree - Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required.
- New Graduates may be considered. Minimum 2 years of experience in Oncology.
- Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire (NP)
- Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification within specialty or Certified Physician Assistant - (NCCPA) - National Commission Certification of Physician Assistants within specialty upon hire required.
- BLS - Multisource required within 180 Days
- Drug Enforcement Administration required upon hire
