Position Highlights
- Work Type: Full-Time
- Hospitalist Shifts: 10 required shifts per month(including resident precepting)
- Academic Time: Up to 20 hours per month of academic administrative time
- Patient Volume: Approximately 16–18 patients per day
- Didactics: Present one 1-hour lecture per month (Wednesday afternoons) Serve as preceptor for the remaining 3 hours of didactics that day
- Committee Participation: Attend GMEC, PEC, CCC, or advisor meetings (remote or in-person)
- Clinic Precepting (PRN): Provide precepting support at the CFM clinic as needed No regular outpatient schedule required
- Program Support: Serve as a preceptor for Family Medicine residents Participate in academic meetings, curriculum activities, and residency development
- Joint injections
- Women’s health procedures
- Skin biopsy
- Treatment of benign lesions
- Central lines and intubations
- Previous experience as an educator or strong interest in teaching
- Ability to thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment
- Commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and continuity of care
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Medicine
- Eligible for or able to obtain state medical licensure
- Interest in academic medicine and resident education
