Position Summary
Under indirect supervision, the Physician provides and manages direct healthcare for a specified patient population, including:
- Performing physical exams, evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment
- Prescribing medications and developing treatment plans
- Referring to specialists as appropriate
- Participating in health promotion and prevention programs
- Supporting interprofessional collaboration and quality improvement efforts
- MD or DO with 3–5 years of related experience (including residency)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Infectious Disease
- New Mexico Medical License (or eligibility to obtain)
- Federal DEA Certification
