Ascension Medical Group Via Christi is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Endocrinology team here in Wichita, Kansas.
Position Highlights:
- Join a thriving Endocrinology team that values clinical excellence and compassionate care.
- Outpatient schedule without call or weekends.
- At Ascension Medical Group Via Christi, you will find the perfect blend of autonomy, collaboration and purpose-driven work.
- Obtains patient history and performs assessment via observation, interview and examination. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic studies. Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and patient care.
- Provides direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
- Counsels and educates patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
- Documents delivery of health care and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.
- Largest multi-specialty group practice in Kansas including locations in Manhattan, Wamego and Wichita - More than 300 providers in 40 specialties providing mission-minded care for all.
- Academic affiliation with the University of Kansas School of Medicine and sponsorship of 6 residency and 2 fellowship programs.

Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certified Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing preferred.
- Master's degree of Nursing required.
